S05E01 - a hero ain't nothing but a sandwich

The Montecito is in complete chaos following the murder of Mary's father. A list of suspects in the crime soon emerges, and the investigation begins to narrow in on certain suspects when a cell phone video surfaces. At the casino, Ed must find out if the robbery was an inside job. Meanwhile, Mike and his team work endlessly on solving the murder; Delinda, who barely escaped the explosion, finally tells Danny her secret; Sam tries to escape from her kidnapper; and the new owner, AJ Cooper arrives.

S05E02 - shrink rap

In the conclusion of the two-part season premiere, Mike and his team continue to work on the murder and robbery case and are shocked at the footage that is uncovered. Sam shows her true tough-girl side when she plots her escape from her kidnappers.

S05E03 - the glass is always cleaner

Things are thrown for a spin when new owner AJ Cooper tries to put in motion new changes for teh Montecito. Danny begins to think he's not the front runner for president when Cooper decides to interview external candidates, and Mike risks his friendship with Danny and applies for the position. S05E04 - head games

Cooper is able to get the Pacific Tropic Spokesmodel Search Contest to be held at the Montecito, but things don't go as planned when some of the contestants are sabotaged. Mike attempts to look for the person behind the sabotage, but he is distracted by the beautiful woman he's assigned to protect. Meanwhile, Sam swears she saw a guest murder a woman, but has trouble convincing Danny that it really happened.

S05E06 - when life gives you lemon bars

In the spirit of Halloween, Piper dresses up in various costumes to try and scare her fellow staffers. Cooper insists on shadowing Sam for the day while she is trying to lure a new whale to the casino, but his presence scares the potential client away. In order to make it up to Sam, Cooper agrees to let her play in his annual exclusive poker game with his billionaire friends Roger and Larry. Delinda discovers a wonderful new pastry chef that is sweet on the surface, but after a few days of her sour attitude she wants to fire her. Meanwhile, Mike thinks he has found the woman of his dreams, but when he discovers her past, he has reservations about them being together.

S05E07 - adventures in the skin trade

Danny and Mike find themselves at a local strip bar for a birthday party, but things go awry when the club owner gets physical with one of the strippers. Always the do-gooder, Delinda begins a citywide campaign advocating for better rights for exotic dancers in Sin City. Elsewhere, Piper enlists Sam?s help to find a racy video that she does not anyone to see. Sam is willing to help, but only if Piper helps her with a whale.

Sam learns that many of her high-roller clients are looking for love and tries to capitalize on this discovery. Meanwhile, Cooper shows a new side of himself when a mystery woman arrives at the casino.

A long-wanted fugitive has been tracked to the Montecito, attracting an unsavory collection of assasins and bounty hunters, along with federal agents. Cooper, Mike, and Danny have their hands full attempting to keep the casino from becoming a battlefield. Out at the pool, three very attractive women are causing a stir and may also be cheating at the in-pool blackjack table. Sam tries to comfort one of her favorite whales who recently lost his wife and children. Delinda deals with her increasing girth from being pregnant. Piper doesn't help by banishing her from the pool area.
