THE CORNER ( HBO Original Miniseries )

Based on the book by David Simon (a former reporter of "The Baltimore Sun" and co-author of the book that inspired the series "Homicide: Life on the street" that inspired itself "The Wire"), "The Corner" is a series of 6 episodes describing the World of "Fayette Street," according to a family stuck in the middle of "drug markets" in West Baltimore.

The places, people and events taking place in this series were based on real events. For those who know "The Wire" (or Homicide: Life on the Street), know that his fans across the Atlantic have also loved this mini-series.

Each episode lasts one hour (total length 360 minutes). This mini-series was broadcast in 2000 on the united states. The DVD was released in July 2003 and is available for purchase on the Internet.
