Audio: Japanese Subtitles: English Death Note
Death Note (デスノート, Desu Nōto?) is a Japanese manga series originally written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. The series primarily centers around a high school student who decides to rid the world of evil with the help of a supernatural notebook that kills anyone whose name is written in it.
Light Yagami is a brilliant, but bored, high school student who resents the crime and corruption in the world. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground in the year 2003. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written within it that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the Death Note's authenticity, believing it is just a prank. However, after experimenting with it and killing two criminals, Light is forced to admit that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a Shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the new world" by passing his judgment on criminals.
Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L". L quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira" (derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "Killer"), is located in Japan. L also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a race to prove mental superiority between the two begins.

Berserk
Berserk (ベルセルク, Beruseruku?) is a dark fantasy manga by mangaka Kentaro Miura.
With over 29 million volumes sold, it is one of the most successful adult manga ever. Berserk's setting is inspired by medieval Europe. It centers around the life of Guts, an orphaned mercenary warrior, and his relationship to Griffith, the leader of a mercenary band called the Band of the Hawk (鷹の団, Taka no Dan?). Both the manga and anime are noted for their heavy violence.
In 1997, production began on a 26-episode anime series (though only 25 were produced due to financial constraints[citation needed]) titled 剣風伝奇ベルセルク (Kenp? denki baruseruku, "The Strangeness of War," roughly, in English). The series was animated by OLM (Oriental Light and Magic).
It covered the first thirteen volumes of the manga including the first two arcs (Black Swordsman & Golden Age). It chronicles how Guts served Griffith in the Band of the Hawk (Golden Age Arc). The TV adaptation made many changes and although the story was taken largely intact, some characters, and the most violent or brutal scenes, were modified or removed. The anime covers volumes five through eight of the manga most accurately, other volumes were changed, and some material, such as volume 11, was removed completely due to the graphic depictions of content that would only build upon themes that were to be continued after the storyline in the anime had concluded. Another example of omitted content is the battle against the count in volumes 1-3 Where Guts and Femto are reunited for the first time since the eclipse. These changes were approved by the series creator Kentaro Miura. Due to the elimination of key characters in the manga, the anime focuses on developing and emphasizing themes of friendship and ambition more so than causality and the supernatural.
The American release of the anime version was labelled "Season One", which may have misled people into assuming that a "Season Two" was planned. Currently, virtually nothing supports this assumption.
In 2004, a CG anime version of key scenes appearing in the TV series, including Griffith's incarceration and the Eclipse episode, were created for the second video game based on the Chapter of the Record of the Holy Demon War (Millennium Falcon Arc).

GTO - Great Teacher Onizuka
Great Teacher Onizuka (グレート・ティーチャー・オニヅカ, Gurēto Tīchā Onizuka), officially abbreviated to GTO, is a manga, anime, and live-action shōnen series created by Tohru Fujisawa. It is the story of Eikichi Onizuka, a 22-year-old former bōsōzoku member, and his quest to be the greatest teacher in Japan. GTO is a continuation of Tohru Fujisawa's other manga series Shonan Junai Gumi (lit. "Shōnan True Love Group") and Bad Company.
Both the anime and manga have been licensed in North America by Tokyopop.
While peeping up girls' skirts at a local shopping mall, Onizuka meets a girl who agrees to go out on a date with him. Onizuka's attempt to bed her fails when her current "boyfriend," her teacher, shows up at the love hotel they are in and asks her to come back. This teacher is old and unattractive, but she is so under this teacher's power that she leaps from a window two stories up and lands in his arms.
Onizuka, seeing this display of a teacher's power over girls, decides to become one himself, and discovers three important things:
1. He has a conscience and a sense of morality. This means taking advantage of impressionable schoolgirls is out ... but their unusually attractive mothers (see Kunio Murai, below) are a different matter.
2. He enjoys teaching.
3. He hates the systems of traditional instruction, especially when they have grown ignorant and condescending.
With these realizations, he sets out to become the greatest teacher ever, using his own brand of philosophy and the ability to do nearly anything when under sufficient pressure:
* Taking a standardized test in one hour instead of the normal five, while having three bullet wounds because he used the other four hours to rescue the daughter of a famous government official from a yakuza hideout.
* Hired as a long-shot teacher by a privately operated school to tame a class that has driven one teacher to a mysterious death, one to nervous breakdown, and one to joining a cult, he embarks on a mission of self-discovery by breaking through to each student one by one, and helping each student, ranging from the busty bimbo to the oedipal rebel, to learn to genuinely enjoy life.

Samurai Deeper Kyo
Samurai Deeper Kyo is Akimine Kamijyo's first published manga. First released in October 1999 in Shūkan Shōnen Magazine, volume thirty-seven was published in April, 2006 by Kodansha[1]. The manga led to the adaption of an anime series of the same name from Studio Deen. Both the manga and the anime combine action with the supernatural, taking liberties with historical personages to create an alternate history of Tokugawa Japan.
Although they differ widely in many crucial aspects of plot and characterization, both the anime and the manga follow the story of Demon Eyes Kyo (鬼目の狂, Oni Me no Kyō?) as he seeks to regain his body after his soul was sealed inside the body of his rival, Mibu Kyoshiro (or "Kyoshiro Mibu" when written in western order). Kyo is joined in his search by, among others, the bounty-hunter Shiina Yuya, Benitora (who is actually Tokugawa Hidetada, heir to the shogunate), and Sanada Yukimura, a famous rival of the Tokugawa.
The final chapter of the manga, 307, was published in Japan on May 10, 2006. As of June 2007, 22 volumes have been released in the United States and Canada by Tokyopop, 32 in France, 25 in Spain, 34 in Singapore, 10 in Germany, and 38 (final volume) in Indonesia. The twenty-six episodes of the anime aired in Japan in late 2002. The Anime is licensed in the US by Media Blasters (under the "Anime Works" imprint). As of July 31, 2006 the series starting airing in the US on Encore WAM. Since Encore WAM airs the Anime 7 days a week for each episode, it is suggested that the Anime will finish its first run in the US on August 25.
Quote:<img align="left" alt="" />It is 1604, four years after the Battle of Sekigahara, perhaps Japan's greatest civil war. The people try to recover from its aftermath and enjoy the newly attained peace. Amid such times Yuya Shiina, a roughneck girl who earns money by capturing outlaws, mistakes a roaming and peace-loving medicine seller Mibu Kyoshiro for the legendary wanted man "Onime-no-Kyo." But she soon realizes that she is wrong when she sees that Kyoshiro is just a weakling. Nevertheless, she ends up capturing Kyoshiro anyway -- he is wanted for running off without paying for a meal. As they travel together Kyoshiro tries to help Yuya catch another wanted criminal. In the process Kyoshiro is cornered. Then he mumbles, "Here he comes," and the color of his eyes turn a deep red. He pulls out his sword which he had never touched before and suddenly, Onime-no-Kyo, the legendary assassin said to have killed one thousand men with this sword, is standing there.
Kyoshiro and Kyo: Two spirits in one body. Yuya is looking for a "man with a wound on his back" who killed her older brother. The two head to Edo together. One after another, samurai come after Onime-no-Kyo. Why do Kyoshiro and Kyo share the same body? Historical figures, such as Tokugawa Ieyasu and Oda Nobunaga, emerge in the story and the mystery of the two souls is gradually resolved.

Cowboy Bebop
Cowboy Bebop (カウボーイビバップ, Kaubōi Bibappu?) is a Japanese anime series created by Sunrise and directed by Shinichiro Watanabe consisting of 26 episodes (called "sessions") and one feature-length film. It follows the adventures of four misfortuned bounty hunters travelling on their spaceship, the Bebop, in the year 2071.
Cowboy Bebop was a commercial success both in Japan and worldwide, and notably in the United States. After its commercial success Sony Pictures released the Cowboy Bebop movie, Knockin' on Heaven's Door to theaters worldwide and followed up with an international DVD release. Two Cowboy Bebop manga series were created based on the anime, as well as two video games, one each for the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 consoles.
Cowboy Bebop has been strongly influenced by American music, especially the jazz movements of the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s and the early rock era of the 1950s, 1960's and 1970's. Many of its action sequences, from space battles to hand-to-hand martial arts combat, are set and timed to music. Episodes are called Sessions (in reference to musicians playing a "jam session"), and titles are often borrowed from album or song names (such as Sympathy for the Devil), or make use of a genre name (Mushroom Samba), and indicate the episode's musical theme.
In the year 2071, the crew of the spaceship Bebop travel the solar system trying to apprehend bounties. In the slang of the era, "Cowboys" are bounty hunters. Most episodes revolve around a specific bounty, but the show often shares its focus with the pasts of one of each of the four main characters and of more general past events, which are revealed and brought together as the series progresses.

Hellsing
Hellsing (ヘルシング, Herushingu?) is an anime TV series produced by GONZO [1], based on the manga of the same name by Kouta Hirano. The name is either a mistranslation or deliberate alternate spelling of Helsing, as in Abraham van Helsing from the Bram Stoker novel Dracula.
The 13-episode TV series was produced by GONZO in 2001, with the story and characters quite different from the original manga. The TV series was broadcast on Fuji Television in Japan from October 10, 2001 to January 16, 2002 and in the US on Starz!'s Encore Action channel from October 4, 2003 to December 27, 2003.
The basic concept of the series concerns a secret British government organization called Hellsing. This organization was formed several hundred years ago by either Abraham van Helsing or his descendants to fight vampires across Britain. As the first episode opens, a vampire is ravaging the English village of Cheddar. Integra Hellsing tells the police to stand down, as the first few squads have already been killed by the vampire and become ghouls (in Hellsing, ghouls are similar to zombies under a vampire's control). She sends in Hellsing's most powerful operative, Alucard. Alucard comes upon the vampire as he is about to murder the last survivor of the police forces, Seras Victoria. In order to kill the vampire he shoots through Seras, mortally wounding her, but before he does so offers her the choice of dying a human or becoming a vampire.
They mainly fight vampires who are artificially created using a chip that is implanted in a living person. It is called a Freak Chip, and the resulting vampires are called Freaks. One trait of the Freak Chip is a pattern in the circuitry that looks like a swastika.
To create these copies the makers of the Freak Chip need a real Vampire; Incognito.
This story mainly follows the battle of the Hellsing organization against the Freaks.
The plot of the TV series is vastly different from that of the manga, mainly due to the fact that Hirano had not finished writing the manga when the TV series went into production.

Vision of Escaflowne
The Vision of Escaflowne (天空のエスカフローネ, Tenkū no Esukafurōne?, lit. Escaflowne of the Heavens) is a 26-episode anime television series created by Sunrise and directed by Kazuki Akane. It premiered in Japan on April 2, 1996 at 6:00 p.m. on TV Tokyo and ended September 24, 1996. It has elements from the genres of shōjo, shōnen, romance, and mecha, and has since inspired a shōnen manga and shōjo manga series, a video game, and an Escaflowne theatrical movie.
This series focuses on the heroine, Hitomi Kanzaki, and her adventures after she is taken to the world of Gaea, a mysterious planet where she can see Earth and its moon in the sky. On Gaea, Earth is known as the Mystic Moon (Japanese: 幻の月 maboroshi no tsuki or "Phantom Moon"). The design of this world mixes common fantasy elements from different cultures (such as knights and medieval fashion alongside samurai) with steampunk technology such as floating ships and the giant mechanical armors known as "Guymelefs" which are the equivalent to the mecha of other series. Hitomi's latent psychic powers are enhanced on Gaea and she quickly becomes embroiled in the conflicts between the Zaibach Empire and several more peaceful countries. As the series progresses, many of the characters' pasts and motivations, as well as the true nature of the planet Gaea, are revealed.

Samurai champloo
Samurai Champloo (サムライチャンプルー, Samurai Chanpurū?) is an anime series consisting of twenty-six episodes. It was directed by Shinichiro Watanabe of Cowboy Bebop fame and produced by manglobe. The show is set in a fictional version of Edo period Japan, featuring elements of action, adventure, and comedy blended with an anachronistic, predominantly hip-hop soundtrack. Its name comes from the Okinawan word "chanpurū" (e.g. goya champuru), which means to mix or blend, keeping with the series' blended theme.
The plot of Samurai Champloo largely revolves around Fuu's quest to find the samurai who smells of sunflowers and the unfinished duel between Mugen and Jin. Mugen meets Fuu when he enters a tea house where she is a waitress and offers to take care of some ruffians in exchange for food. Fuu agrees, but Mugen characteristically overreacts and the scene erupts into a brawl. As the situation progresses, he and Jin end up in a duel that remains unfinished as they literally bring the tea house down on themselves and are arrested and sentenced to death.
Fuu recruits the two to help her in a quest to find the Sunflower Samurai in exchange for helping them escape from prison. Mugen and Jin, however, are intent on completing their duel first. Fuu gets them to agree to a coin flip: heads, they continue their duel; tails, they travel with her and put their duel on hold until the journey is over. Mugen flips the coin and Fuu tells them it is tails: Mugen and Jin are thus obligated to hold off on their duel and journey with her. At various times, however, they try to abandon Fuu, and they also intermittently confront one another ? each vowing to kill the other by journey's end.
Throughout the journey the trio are often broke and starving. They are also forced to face many elements of their pasts. In the two-part "Misguided Miscreants" (a.k.a. "Dark Night's Road"), Mugen encounters his old pirate gang and becomes involved in a looting scheme with his old partner Mukuro. The situation quickly turns into a backstabbing contest resulting in much bloodshed. It is revealed that Jin killed his master, Mariya Enshirou, and in a number of episodes ("The Art of Altercation"; "Lullabies of the Lost") he is pursued by students of his former dojo who wish to exact revenge. Jin is reluctant to kill these pursuers.
In the final three-episode arc, "Evanescent Encounter" (a.k.a. "Circle of Transmigration"), all three must confront their unresolved pasts. Fuu finally meets and confronts the Sunflower Samurai. Jin is challenged by a master swordsman, named Kariya Kagetoki, who is revealed as the primary antagonist of the series, although he has remained behind the scenes until this story arc. It is revealed that Kariya attempted to gain control of Jin's dojo and train its adepts for the purposes of assassination. Mariya Enshirou was ordered to kill Jin because of his opposition to the plan, and in the ensuing fight Jin killed his master in self-defense and was forced to flee the dojo. It also turns out that Kariya had the group tracked so that he could find and kill the Sunflower Samurai, Kasumi Seizou, as punishment for his role in the Shimabara Rebellion. In the course of the story, Mugen is also forced to confront three brothers seeking revenge because Mugen crippled one of them during his days of piracy.

There is a Vandread Extra stage (notebook), that explains the events after the last episode (#13 Trust), containing 5 short stories.
Quote:<img align="left" alt="" />Imagine a world where men and women don?t leave next to each other at all! Each one lives on separate planets and has their own ways of not getting along. Women and men are at war! Well maybe not all women?one lone set of women pirate just happens to stumble onto something and destroys the male fleet all but a few that seem to have stuck around for one reason or another. Can men and women that have not got along for centuries try and get along now and save both their worlds? This is one type of comedy that is full of laughs and is well worth watching over and over just to see how different men and women really are.

Last Exile
Last Exile (ラストエグザイル, Rasuto Eguzairu?) is a steampunk anime directed by Koichi Chigira for the anime studio Gonzo Digimation. It ran on TV Tokyo from April to September, 2003. It was brought to American audiences through Tech TV's (now G4) television program Anime Unleashed in March 2004. It ended in December of the same year, with a full season marathon on Christmas Day.
The story revolves around Claus Valca and Lavie Head, a young courier pilot and his navigator, and their adventures in the floating world of Prester. In this romantic sky world based on stylized Victorian fashion and society, two countries, Anatole and Dysis (sometimes phonetically rendered as Anatoray and Disith), are engaged in a long and bloody war under the supervision of the mysterious Guild. Claus and Lavie, piloting their vanship (a small wingless aircraft) find themselves involved in a plot surrounding a mysterious little girl named Alvis Hamilton, whom they must deliver as "cargo" to the much-feared neutral battleship Silvana.
The animation features a combination of 2-D and 3-D CGI sequences; several key staff members such as the character designer Range Murata and Gonzo veteran Mahiro Maeda had previously worked on the production of Blue Submarine No. 6 which was done in a similar style.

Eureka SeveN
Eureka Seven, known as Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN (交響詩篇エウレカセブン, Kōkyōshihen Eureka Sebun?) in Japan, is a mecha anime TV series by Bones. Eureka Seven tells the story of Renton Thurston and the outlaw group Gekkostate, his relationship with the enigmatic mecha pilot Eureka, and the mystery of the Coralians.
Bandai produced three video games based on Eureka Seven; two of them are based on events prior to the show, while the third is based on the first half of the show. Both the original concept of the anime and the video game Eureka Seven vol.1: New Wave have been adapted into manga series, as well.
Eureka Seven won awards at the 2006 Tokyo Anime Fair for Best Television Series, Screenplay, and Character Design.[1] Anime Insider voted it "Best DVD Series of the Year" in 2006.[2]
An aeon has passed since human beings were driven from the Earth. After much searching for a place to live in peace, they finally discovered the Land of the Covenant. It was a desolate planet; its surface covered by a substance similar to coral, and a hitherto unknown ion called Traver filled the air. They settled upon this planet, and built huge towers in order to use Traver effectively. Under these towers, countries were established, and the United States of the Towers was founded to unify them.
Several hundreds years have passed since then. Renton is a boy who lives with his grandfather in the Tower Country Belforest. He has one major complaint about his life. As the son of the great hero Adrock, who saved the world from the disaster known as the Summer of Love at the cost of his own life, Renton shoulders a burden trying to live up to this name. Furthermore, his grandfather is a mechanic and expects Renton to take over the family business.
His only mental escape is Liff, a sport where one glides through the Traver. Renton yearns to follow in the footsteps of Holland, a charismatic Liff Rider, and to travel around gliding like him, believing that a big wave of change will come to him some day.

Onegai Teacher
Please Teacher! (おねがい☆ティーチャー, Onegai Tīchā?, Onegai Teacher), is a Japanese anime series, authored and scripted by Yousuke Kuroda, and produced by Bandai Visual, which was adapted into a manga and light novel, centering around a group of friends and the odd things that happen to them after they get a new teacher.
The Please Teacher! anime series premiered in Japan on the WOWOW satellite television network between January 10, 2002 and March 28, 2002, spanning a total of 13 episodes, including twelve originally premiering on television plus an OVA episode released on DVD on October 25, 2002. It was adapted very soon into a manga, serialized in MediaWorks's seinen manga magazine, Dengeki Daioh, in January 2002, and was also later adapted into a light novel, entitled Onegai Teacher: Mizuho and Kei's Milky Diary, published in March 2003.
The Please Teacher! anime series was soon continued with a spinoff,[1][2] Please Twins!, which premiered on WOWOW between July 15, 2003 and October 14, 2003.
The setting of the series, though left unsaid in either anime or manga, is Lake Kizaki, located in Nagano, Japan, and the region and its surrounding locations are featured prominently and accurately across the series.[3] The novel does say the school the characters attend is the Nagano Prefectural Kizaki High School. This school is based upon the Old Matsumoto High School located in Agatanomori Park of Matsumoto-shi, about an hour south of Lake Kizaki on the JR Ooito Line. The tower of which we see Kaede and Hyouske standing upon can be found in Joyama Kouen on the northwest part of the city.
Please Teacher! is a story mainly revolving around a tight-knit group of friends in high school and how they cope with several life-changing events that are never too far off from intimate relationships. The main character is a boy named Kei Kusanagi who suffers from a very rare disease which causes a comatose state referred to as a "standstill" whenever he is under severe emotional distress.
Before the beginning of the story, Kei, at 15 years old, had fallen into a "standstill" lasting three years after witnessing the suicide of his elder sister. After recovering, he quietly moved away from home in order to avoid social difficulty due to his long absence, and began living with his uncle, a medical doctor, and aunt. Due to the strange nature of how he came to live there, Kei wanted to keep the situation a secret from his new friends for fear of being ostracized as being too old to associate with them.
After Kei had established himself in his new surroundings and had entered into a close group of mutually supportive friends, a Galactic Federation starship had entered Earth's atmosphere stealthily (it is equipped with cloaking technology, rendering it invisible to EM spectrum detection equipment), approached Honshu Island and landed surreptitiously in Lake Kizaki. (Aside from physical travel of the spacecraft via its own engines, travel back and forth across intermediate and long distances - including other star systems and/or dimensions - is accomplished using Star Trek-like 'transporter' technology.) The story begins with Kei, after suffering a minor 'standstill' while in the vicinity of the lake, witnesses several unexplainable phenomena happening there, and then watches as a beautiful half-human alien named Mizuho Kazami materializes beside the shore.
Kazami was sent to observe planet Earth by a seemingly benevolent Galactic Federation in order to prevent Terrans from making developmental mistakes. (Later, it is revealed that she had personal reasons; she wanted to see the home planet of her father, who had died when she was a child.) Kei, upon observing the materialization, attempts to escape the pursuing Kazami, (who he does not get a clear look at, as she appears surrounded by bright white light). Kazami is under strict orders to prevent her true identity and mission from being discovered (the penalty for which can include capital punishment). During his attempt to escape, Kei falls into the lake, seeming to drown as a result of another stress-induced 'standstill'. In fact, Kazami rescued Kei, and using information from his identification, was able to return him home after examining him for injuries.
The next day begins fairly normally, as Kei awakens at his uncle's home, in his room, under the impression that the previous evening was the product of a dream. Upon arriving at the school, Kei's peers are discussing the fact that the previous homeroom teacher has mysteriously quit his position, and that the beautiful Ms. Kazami has become his new homeroom teacher. Later that day, Kei is further astounded that she is now a next-door neighbor.
During assisting her in moving in, he suffers another standstill, and while in a weakened state explains his predicament to the compassionate Mizuho, who cared for him without alerting the authorities, and thus kept his condition a private secret. During his recovery, he recalls the events of the previous evening, realizing that it was not a dream, and that she was the person he saw by the lakeside. Mizuho's inherently honest nature causes her to admit her origins and purpose on Earth. A near tragic comedy of errors ensues, as a frightened Kei attempts to escape her embrace. An accidental activation of the 'transporter' technology almost costs Kei and Mizuho their lives as she rescues him once again. A rapprochement is achieved, as it becomes evident that neither Mizuho nor the Galactic Federation she serves is hostile, and Kei promises not to reveal her identity as Mizuho makes a similar promise about Kei's medical condition. This is the beginning of a friendship that rapidly becomes more intimate.
After being discovered in what on the surface would appear to be a compromising situation (Mizuho had wanted to speak with Kei privately and had him transported to a physical education sports equipment locker), Kei protects Mizuho from charges of an inappropriate relationship between student and teacher by supporting the idea impulsively given by his uncle to the school's Headmaster that they are married, resulting in an actual civil marriage that later blossoms into genuine affection for each other. Kei's true calendar age becomes evident during the Headmaster's phone call to City Hall to verify their married status, and the Headmaster relents, partly because he, too, had married someone younger than himself and could understand their situation personally. Both are allowed to stay so long as they do not reveal their status to the other students, and do not engage in any public displays of affection.
The remainder of the series concerns the budding intimate relationships between the close friends, one of whom (Koishi Herikawa) is romantically interested in Kei and another (Ichigo Morino) who he later learns has suffered even greater loss of time from the same disease as he has; the problems of having to maintain the secrecy of the marriage; an interfering parent and sibling visiting from Federation space; and Kei learning to overcome the ever-present threat of another lengthy 'standstill' stealing more of his life, particularly as he has fallen deeply in love with Mizuho and desperately wants to remain with her..

Trigun
Trigun (トライガン, Toraigan?) is a sci-fi manga series with a space western theme created by Yasuhiro Nightow in 1995, and adapted into a 26 episode anime series in 1998 by Madhouse. It is the story of Vash the Stampede, a.k.a. The Humanoid Typhoon, and the two Bernardelli Insurance Society employees, Meryl Strife and Milly Thompson, who were ordered to follow him and minimize the damage that seemed to follow Vash wherever he went. Like Himura Kenshin from the manga/anime series Rurouni Kenshin, we find more to Vash as he flips personalities between a clumsy klutz and to an unstoppable gunman, always believing that it is wrong to take the life of another regardless of the circumstances.
Much of the damage attributed to "Vash" is caused by the activities of bounty hunters who are after the 60,000,000,000$$ (sixty billion "double dollars") reward on Vash's head for the destruction of a city called July. Vash does not clearly remember the destruction of July, and only wants "love and peace", as he puts it; though he is a gunfighter of inhuman skill, he uses his weapons only to save lives wherever he can.
As the series progresses, more is gradually learned about Vash's mysterious history and the history of the human civilization on Gunsmoke, the desert planet the series is set on. The series is often humorous in tone, but at the same time it involves very serious character development and especially in later episodes it becomes quite emotionally intense. Vash is occasionally joined by a priest, Nicholas D. Wolfwood, who is almost as good a gunfighter as Vash himself, and later is targeted by a band of assassins known as the Gung-Ho Guns for reasons which are mysterious at first.
Trigun evolves into a very serious discussion of the nature of morality, posing questions such as: What is the nature of morality? Can we judge different moral codes? If a person is forced to betray their moral code, does that betrayal invalidate that moral code, and can the person still try to live up to that moral code? Can the person find redemption from their wrongs, and if so, how?

Onegai Twins
Please Twins! is a story mainly revolving around three high school students: Maiku Kamishiro, Karen Onodera, and Miina Miyafuji. The three were drawn together by a photograph of their childhood home which later makes all of them seek out the house in the picture. However, the picture only has two children - a boy and a girl. Hence, only one of the girls, Karen or Miina, is related to Maiku. The only other identifying feature of the pair in the picture is that the boy and the girl have eyes of the same unusual color; a feature that furthers the ambiguity as all three of them have the same eye color.
The main concern of the male lead, Maiku, is that he is in love with both of the girls. In addition, the two girls are in love with Maiku, forming a love triangle of potential incest. The three main characters, mostly the two female leads, are in a predicament of wanting to discover their past versus the risk of losing a romantic relationship.
