When Resident Evil 4 was released, it was buggy and bad port, with not even mouse support. Here are some must have mods which will trasform the game for you, making it a much much better game and a much more awesome experience.
Asian to European patch (
needed only if you have Asian version of the game, called Biohazard 4, thats how you know its Asian version)-

Use- You cant install the official patch on Asian version. The above patch will convert your Asian version to European version.

This pacth is very important. This in itself contains following patches (but its only one installer)-
1. Albert's Texture Patch 1.0- Improves textures a lot. The orignal game shipped with PS2 textures. It replaces them all with Gamecube version textures which were much better.
2. AaronLite's Extreme Res Leon- Very high resolution textures for Leon's outfit.
3. Sfisher7's High-Res R.P.D. Outfit 4. ViperSnake's Hair for Ada & Leon- Improves hairs of Ada and Leon (simple but good change)

This file contains-
1. Mouse Aim mod- Adds mouse support in the game. You can set sestitivity too.
2. Keyboard key replacer- The game nowhere references keyboard controls. Its all trail and error. You will be smashing your key board in quixk response sequences (where you have to press definite key in time or you die). This mod replaces those gamepad keys with keyboard keys. It will show corresponding keyboard keys in menus and quick response sequences. Very important mode.
3. HDR mod- Adds HDR to the game. You can turn on or turn off HDR according to your preferences.
4. Trainer- For hard fighs. Supports everything from infinite health, ammo to max hit points, guns etc.
5. *****- ***** for the game after applaying patches.

On side note, this game is really a super awesome game. I didnt play it because of all the problems it had. But after applying these mods, I just couldnt stop playing. Its really a good game, marred by poor porting to PC. These modes will make it awesome again. Enjoy!!!
