Adobe Photoshop CS3 A-Z: Tools and features illustrated ready reference

This brief, well-written quick reference for Photoshop CS3. I would say that as someone taking ACE exams when they re-released for each version that this book will be useful in studying for the ACE exam, but not sufficient on its own.

All the major functions and dialog boxes are covered, but some important functions related to the functions of a dialogue or not. For example, there is a column of channels panel, but no columns or descriptions on some important functions carried out within a group of channels such as the ability to create Spot Channel. Of course, there are many other examples, many of whom are specialized, but nevertheless important features, anyone who seriously want to know Photoshop, ACE exam or not.

I also noticed several layout and typographical errors (for example, sometimes the section headings for two different functions, will show the same mistake on the menu tree / label. IOW, mock-person cut and paste, but never updated text).

In general, this is an accessible and useful to have a link, especially if you're not so concerned with specialized functions and covert teams in a group or a dialog. The quality and compulsory work are very good and playback is decent. I would recommend Photoshop CS3 On Demand book because of its added depth, but it is replete with errors.
